Administrator – Roundwood
20 hours per week, Taverham, Norwich
We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and friendly Administrator to join the team at Roundwood.
This is a varied role working across our indoor bowls club, holiday accommodation and campsite, so no two days are quite the same. You’ll be responsible for keeping the day-to-day administration running smoothly, managing bookings and enquiries, supporting our members and guests, and helping the wider Roundwood team stay organised.
This is an onsite role based at Roundwood in Taverham. Because you’ll be dealing directly with our members, guests and visitors and supporting the day-to-day running of the club and accommodation, you’ll need to work from Roundwood during your agreed hours. The role cannot be carried out remotely or from home.

- Supporting membership administration and club communications
- Liaising with members, visitors, leagues and external organisations
- Representing Roundwood at external meetings when required

- Managing bookings and enquiries for our holiday accommodation and campsite
- Communicating with guests before, during and after their stay
- Keeping booking systems and records up to date
- Dealing with general guest queries and liaising with the onsite team
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the accommodation and campsite administration
When you’ll work
We are looking for someone to work 20 hour per week as per the schedule below:
- Monday: 6pm–10pm
- Tuesday: 6pm–10pm
- Thursday: 6pm–10pm
- Friday: 9am–1pm
- Sunday: 9am–1pm
There may be a requirement for some flexibility around weekend hours from time to time, particularly when we have competitions, events or other activities taking place.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Exceptionally organised and able to manage several different workflows at the same time
- Confident using computers and comfortable working across a wide variety of software and online systems
- A quick learner who can pick up new systems and processes easily
- Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with members, guests, suppliers and external organisations
- Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Equally happy working as part of a team
- Reliable and able to prioritise when things get busy
- A good communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable dealing with a varied workload and changing priorities
An interest in bowls or a willingness to learn about the sport is a key part of the role. You don’t need to be an experienced player just someone who has a genuine interest in learning about the sport and the club.
Previous administration experience would be an advantage, but attitude, organisation and the ability to learn quickly are just as important to us.
